Jeff Wieselberg performing live @thebarn
Presented by Moose Entertainment
Jeff Wieselberg was born & raised in New Jersey, where he began taking piano lessons at the age of 7 and played in bands while in high school and in college at Hofstra University. He moved to Connecticut in 1975 to attend graduate school in psychology at the University of Connecticut in Storrs. After one year of graduate school he decided to pursue a musical career instead, and has been performing fulltime–singing and playing the piano–in Hartford and throughout the state since then. He was a founding member of 2 popular and fondly-remembered bands, CLOCKWORK and THE RIVERSIDE DRIVERS, but since 1976 he has been performing mostly solo–singing and playing the piano for restaurants, clubs, bars, weddings, private parties, and businesses, as well as corporate, civic, and many charity events. He performs a wide variety of popular songs (pop, jazz, blues, rock, and Broadway) by artists such as The Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Billy Joel, James Taylor, Tom Petty and many others from throughout the 20th century, and a bit of the new millenium, too. He’s lived in Glastonbury for more than 30 years. Jeff performed weekly for 25 years at Apricots Restaurant in Farmington, and for 11 years at the Nordstrom store at Westfarms Mall.
