New lunch menu and hours

@thebarn in granby recently added new hours and a new lunch menu.  The menu features sandwiches and flatbreads as well as many items from the dinner menu including raw bar, salads, small plates and a sampling of entrees. Favorites include an adult version of a grilled cheese sandwich, sea scallops (small plate) and A Taste of Spain Flatbread. Check contact page for current hours.

On Tuesday, September 15, 2015, @thebarn had its grand opening and ribbon cutting.  James & Sandy Chen were joined by members from the Granby Chamber of Commerce, members of the Board of Selectman, members of Granby town services, local press and @thebarn staff.

Granby Chamber of Commerce has organized a ribbon cutting for the Grand Opening of @thebarn on September 15, 2015 at 3:00.  The local town officials, members of the board of directors, James & Sandy Chen, and the management of @thebarn will be in attendance.  Following the ribbon cutting, @thebarn will be open to the public.  Reservations for dinner are recommended.

Proprietors James and Sandy Chen, two of the Farmington Valley’s top restaurateurs,  are opening @thebarn, a brilliant new contemporary steakhouse and wine bar located in the center of Granby Connecticut at 17R East Granby Road  (between Route 20 and Bank Street).

Chef Dan Fortin’s menu offerings include steaks, seafood, raw bar and a variety of small plates.

The bar features a discerning wine list selected by certified sommelier Matthew Blumenfeld as well as a wide array of martinis, specialty cocktails, and 10 craft beers on tap.
